Promoted to Group Vice President at the age of 32, Gelsinger was the youngest vice president in the history of the company. He was recognized by PC Magazine as the "Man of the Year" in 1990. Mr. Gelsinger holds an AA degree from Lincoln
Technical Institute, a B.S. Magna Cum Laude from Santa Clara University, and an M.S. from Stanford University. He is married and has four children.
